The Stand Tall Baking Club

We’ve engaged professional baker, Margaret Mukhaye, to start a baking club at Stand Tall. This term, level 5 learners meet with Margaret on Friday afternoons to learn how to bake, budget, record, package and market a variety of baked goods.
Margaret believes that having a marketable skill right out of primary school is an asset that our learners can use to earn money and even start their own small businesses. We’ll be purchasing an oven in the near future and building a canteen where we will sell our products.
